MY MITZVAH PROJ. BY ETHAN TEPER
My name is Ethan Teper and I am a student at Plainview Jewish Center.  For my Bar Mitzvah project, I am volunteering at the Mary Brennan INN (Interfaith Nutrition Network), a soup kitchen and shelter in Hempstead, Long Island.
This organization helps people from all backgrounds who are in need.   As I was packaging non-perishable food items, I noticed that the shelves were being emptied quickly.  If you or anyone you know would like to contribute to this cause, I will be happy to collect donations of non-perishable food and deliver them to the Mary Brennan INN.
Your donation will ease the burden of somebody who lives on the streets.  I will place a box for donations outside the Cantor/Rabbi's offices at PJC.
Thank you very much for your donation and assistance with my project.  (You may want to see the attached flyer for suggestions on donations).
