PJC is embarking on a program to visit congregants who are sick, whether at home or in a facility such as a Hospital or Rehab Center. BIKUR CHOLIM (Hebrew word for Visiting the Sick) is one of the most considerate and helpful acts one person can do for another. This Mitzvah can bring joy to the person being visited and the visitor. No special skills are required but, if interested or curious, it is strongly recommended that you attend an orientation conducted by, Marilyn Leibowitz, formerly trained at The Rabbi Issac Trainin Bikur Cholim Coordinating Council. Rabbi Conn will also be discussing his important role in the program. Please call Marilyn to RSVP @822-6965, If you have any questions or cannot attend the orientation feel free to call.
